In the sprinkler irrigation method, irrigation water is given to the air under pressure from sprinkler heads placed at regular intervals on the land, from there it falls to the land surface and enters the soil by infiltration and is stored in the plant root zone.
This form of water application is called the sprinkler method because it resembles natural rainfall.
